Jack is a gay pagan and practicing witch, as well as an active dance educator.

The idea of The Dancing Bear has a few different layers. First- the name. Jack holds a degree in dance and has spent a large part of his life involved in it. It’s his truest of loves. He’s also a gay man that many would identify as a bear. And so, instead of rejecting his bear-ness, he embraced the idea and created what he hopes will be a long-lasting brand!

The idea for The Dancing Bear came abpout in January 2021 when he finally felt comfortable enough in his identity as a Pagan and tarot reader. He began by creating an Instagram and posting a few photos over a few months- but then chickened out, deleted everything, and used the hide feature on his account. He didn’t see himself as a good enough witch or tarot reader to think that he would be good at this. So, he cancelled his plans to file for an LLC and pushed it to the backburner- until January 2024.

Now, he offers three primary metaphysical services- tarot, home cleansings and blessings, and crystal gridding! Tarot covers a wide array of things- in this case it does refer to general cartomancy, or card readings! Jack can also work with oracle readings, if this is something you would like! Cleansings and blessings can help you get your home in sorts energetically as well as protecting it and you.
